Wander notes

Hi, I’m Pilar – welcome to my travel blog.
When I travel, I’m not chasing every landmark or trying to check off a list. Instead, I’d rather slow down, choose just a few places, and really get to know them. For me, that’s where the magic happens – in the details and the little moments that make a place feel alive.

Traveling this way makes each trip feel more personal, and it also leaves room for me to return and keep discovering at my own pace.

That’s really what My Wander Notes is about. In fact, this travel blog started as my own journal, a place to capture how I experience the world. The little rituals – like finding the coffee shop that becomes my spot, or noticing the way light falls on a quiet side street – are what make a place stay with me.

I am a photographer, and my more experimental work lives at pilarnusaphoto.com. Here, though, my photography takes a different shape – it’s about curiosity, connection, and sharing the details that make travel meaningful to me. Most of the images you’ll see on this blog are taken with my phone – quick, intuitive captures that show you don’t need a fancy camera to travel the world and capture great moments.

So, if you’re looking for long checklists, you probably won’t find them here. However, if you like the idea of slowing down, paying attention, and letting a place unfold in its own time, then welcome – you’re in the right place.
